Microchipping Your Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Here at Cruisin Cavaliers we microchip all of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and puppies with Home Again microchips. The microchip number is then registered with AKC and CKCSC during registration and if any health certifications are done the microchip number is also given to CERF and OFA for record keeping.
Puppies are microchipped at 7 weeks of age by a veterinarian. The microchip is like a small grain of rice and it is inserted under the skin between the shoulder blades.
